Friday night started off with a last-minute Ranger game thanks to a friend from church! We were on the SEVENTH row from the field behind first base! The seats were awesome! The only sport I've sat that close to watch before is hockey!

The Rangers won & after the game we stayed for the fireworks show!
Saturday morning Shawn woke-up at the crack-of-dawn to go for a 9 mile run with my cousin and his coworker. L & I supported him by hanging out on the sofa watching Jake & the Neverland Pirates - I call that a win-win! We went and had breakfast tacos at Chiloso! SO good! It was a nice surprise because it ended up being $1 tacos! Apparently whenever one of the local football teams wins their Friday night game, they do $1 tacos the next morning!
That afternoon, we ran a few errands and had a fun dinner on the patio at MiCocina! Fun & Yummmme = perfect combo! Sunday after church we went to lunch at Chipotle and went to Trader Joe's. We had been before when we were in LA last summer but that was more of a run-in. This time we went aisle-by-aisle looking at what all fits our family & have to say we were pleasantly surprised! I really appreciate finding healthier foods we can eat at a cheaper price! When we got home we got to see the finished product of my dad's hard work Sunday morning!
We got wood floors put into our "office/dining room"!
The rest of the day was spent moving furniture back into the room, hanging out with L, and preparing for another week to begin! Can't believe our baby turns one this Thursday! Un.bee.liev.able!

Btw....to quote Shawn after he took this pic, "ok...the cow-print car seat is cute" - ummm duh!!

ReplyDeleteIt was so meant to be! We had one picked out that I was happy with but kinda blah about. We went to the register to pay and there was an open box behind the counter that they had knocked $100 off of because a couple returned it after having it for an hour! Nothing wrong with it at all! So we got a nicer carseat than we had originally picked out & it was cute!!
