Better Late Than Never!

It may be close to the end of the week but I'm still going to update on our weekend!  I was good once again about taking pics throughout it so I'm definitely not going to miss posting these babies!  Our weekend was great and it actually felt like it didn't fly by too fast (regardless it will never be long enough though)!

Friday night Shawn and I had a date night!  Saturday morning Shawn got up bright and early and ran 13 miles in preparation for his marathon in December!  So proud of his dedication!

The rest of the morning/early afternoon we lounged and caught up on shows while L napped (DVR we love you, best invention ever)!  Next up was lunch at Chick-Fil-A.....pictures were attempted but she was not in the mood!  That evening we met our aunt/uncle who were in town from Florida to see Mollie & Adam (aka cousins from FL who live go to college in Dallas).

After church & lunch on Sunday we had a cozy afternoon/evening at home!  It was chilly this weekend so we enjoyed our first fire of the season!  L had a blast playing all day!

She loves her princess castle & she looks like such a big girl playing with it!

She couldn't believe kitty crawled in the sack!

All in all, a great weekend!!

  5. Good for your husband, training for a marathon! Is it his first? My hubby has his first marathon the first weekend in November. I'm so proud of him for working so hard to reach a goal like that! Your little princess is beautiful (especially all that dark hair!!).

Visiting from The Life of Faith. Nice to "meet" you!
