At the end of July we are going to a Car Seat Class at the hospital but Shawn still wanted to practice installing it this past weekend! When we were at our Birthing Class last week, the teacher stressed the importance of the Car Seat Class but also practicing on your own. That way, just in case your little one decides to arrive before your class (which hopefully in our case she won't), you aren't completely clueless on how to install it to take your bundle of joy home! She went on & on about how frustrating it is for nurses to see parents who clearly have never touched a car seat before so Shawn decided it was time to get in there & figure it out! :) We had put it in the car before just to make sure that it fit in both cars but we had never attempted to fasten it in. Since it was SO hot outside on Sunday, Shawn left me & Paisley on the couch while he went & figured it out. Then he can teach me on a cooler day! Towards the end we went out to see "the damage" ;) and to our surprise he had already figured it out! Seeing him with the car seat made me even more excited to meet our sweet girl & to see her wrapped in her daddy's arms!
