Black Friday Marathon!

Shawn & I had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! We spent the day at my grandmother's house and with my dad's side of the family. We ate, looked at the ads to plan our shopping, chatted, and ate some more! We have so much to be thankful for this year and are so blessed! Shawn & I got to bed at 11:30 pm & were up at 2:30 a.m. to get started on our shopping!

The first stop was Kohls & it was a nightmare! This is our second year to do Black Friday so we know the drill on the chaos, lines, etc. but Kohls was just a mess! Second stop was Old Navy which was a success - minus the 45 minutes we waited in line! Third stop was Target.....successful minus the ridiculous lady that was 2 people in front of us who decided to open up a credit card in the middle of Black Friday in the express line.....yeah, people were not too happy! Fourth stop was Pier 1 but that was a no-go when we saw that we weren't thrilled about anything we thought we wanted. Then it was off to Macys, Dillards, & JcPenney's - once again the products we thought were going to be good turned out to be not-so-great. Regardless, the things we did buy were great prices & definitely worth the trips!

We were out from 2:30 - 10:30 a.m. so we had a busy morning! We've been relaxing for majority of the day. As I type, everyone in this house is passed out, so I'd say that it's been a successful day!
